This 1972 GMC 1500 Sierra 4x4 has fuel-injected V8 power, a custom/comfy A/C interior, and quality suspension investments. So while the true patina earns your admiration, the total package is what really leaves you in awe.
Patina is an awesome way to present an extra-duty 1500-series truck like this. It reminds you that a robust truck can get to work for half a century and still be ready for more. But this one is secretly rewarding. It's a real worn-in patina, but rust worries in places like the cab corners were repaired and blended. Then the whole truck was cleared over so that you lock-in the style that took decades to create. We're told the restoration on this truck was completed earlier this year, and it doesn't try to hide the full nature of the investments. The mirror-like grille, bright chrome bumpers, new full-length side trim, clear headlights, and Carr aluminum side steps are part of a premium and attractive style. But as fun as it is to look at all the details, this one never loses the true truck ability that earned its patina. That's why you have the lifted 4x4 prowess, towing mirrors, and the long bed has clean black paint for easy anytime use.

Patina is an awesome way to present an extra-duty 1500-series truck like this. It reminds you that a robust truck can get to work for half a century and still be ready for more. But this one is secretly rewarding. It's a real worn-in patina, but rust worries in places like the cab corners were repaired and blended. The interior shows off more of just how fresh the build is. A touch of the exterior patina orange returns inside, and it harmonizes with a fresh tan package. There are nice details like a smooth dash pad, plush carpeting, and door panels with classic western-style pattern. And we especially love the seat. The ostrich-pattern inserts look cool and are part of a setup that offers a bit more individualized comfort. This has some thoughtful features for a good driver, like cold-blowing air conditioning, tinted windows, sound deadening material under the carpet, and a retro-style AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth. A driver's truck also means a commanding experience from behind the wheel with upgrades like a tilt steering column and a full Dakota Digital gauge package.
The engine bay loves to show off the upgrade to a 5.3-liter Vortec V8. It's not just that you have a modern fuel-injected powerhouse, but the consignor states it was rebuilt about 3k miles ago. It has been upgraded to include a new cam, lifters, and springs. It inhales deeply with a cold air intake, and it exhales with added power and authority as headers feed the dual exhaust and MagnaFlow mufflers. You even have nice supporting components, like new motor mounts, an aluminum radiator, a new fuel tank, new fuel lines, and full Painless wiring. It's a stout powerhouse, which is perfect for a strong 4x4. It includes an NP205 two-speed transfer case and new driveshafts. The front axle is a Pro Rock Dana 60 unit with Positraction, 4:88 gears, and Warn locking hubs (off-roaders know this is a serious $$$$$ investment all on its own.) There's a 14-bolt locker rear with new 4:88 gears. You also have the suspension lift, new off-road shocks, and BF Goodrich Baja T/As. And for those times when you're just rolling through town, the four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, power steering, power brakes with front discs make for a solid driver.
This GMC has been given all the right investments to be the truck you've always wanted. So don't let it slip away, call today!!!
