A bullet-nose Studebaker is quite a fun classic. Add in a bright color, true vintage style, and an affordable price, and this 1951 Studebaker Champion Starlight Coupe is quite attractive.
We love the look of these Starlight coupes. The unique presentation with the long trunk and wraparound rear glass made these look absolutely futuristic in the early 1950s. And Studebaker was quite daring with their designs, too. This bullet-nose front end practically defines its image in the classic car world, and yet, it was only in production for two years. And while a car like this doesn't need any more distinction, this pink is a shade bolder than anything they were offering from the factory. This distinctive car has a true cruiser style where it's easy to take out on the road without worrying about all the little pebbles. But if you were also looking for one to restore, the way the big bumpers shine and the level of completeness in this car tell you the right fundamentals are in place, too.

The interior is distinctly finished with a tasteful gray upholstery that also brings back a touch of pink for the comfy cloth inserts. It's a nice hit of coordination with the exterior, especially with the door panels done to match. It has a true vintage feeling when you sit in the driver's seat. You get the stylized steering wheel with the thin and grippy grooves that instantly remind you of the 1950s. Beyond that is the full gauge package that has the perfect art deco style. It is quite an authentic cruiser where the only addition you're likely to spot is the handy added temp gauge. It all makes for a true vintage motoring experience.
Studebaker's sturdy 170 cubic-inch straight-six looks nice and honest in this engine bay with the smooth green paint funneling your attention to all the period-correct components. For many of us, we just love seeing something as authentic as a six-volt car with a generation still hitting the road. And this one likes to be more of a cruiser with its easy-shifting automatic transmission. Of course, we also bet some of you see something this distinct and think about the different kinds of V8 upgrades you'll want to fit. And with this affordable price, you can really choose your own adventure.
This is the bullet-nose whitewall cruiser that gets you big distinction for a little price. Call today!!!
