SUPER COOL ORIGINAL 20K MILE CAR, MOSTLY ALL ORIGINAL, 327CI V8, AUTO, CLEAN!

This 1966 Chevrolet Caprice coupe reigned supreme when new with its range-topping style and road-owning size. And today this classic continues to command attention for being an exceptionally preserved/presented hardtop with its numbers-matching V8, vintage luxury interior, and ultra-low mileage.

Chevy fans know this is something very special. 1966 was the first year for the Caprice coupe. The name was introduced as the top option package for the Impala sedan the previous year, but then it was given its own unique styling as the new king of the full-size Chevys. The roofline is unique to the Caprice, and it looks quite regal as it gets highlighted by the taut black vinyl. Then again, everything is going to look good on a car this straight. The under 21k miles on the odometer is the actual mileage, and so this one is practically a time capsule. Even some of the Cameo Beige finish is believed to be the original application! Being the top-level Chevrolet also meant not skipping out on chrome anywhere. Caprices added brightwork over the Impala up front, and there is no missing those cool tail lamps with wraparound bright ribbing. Complete trim, factory wheel covers, and a full-length ... Description

Complete trim, factory wheel covers, and a full-length pinstripe in a subtle tan are all part of this well-presented and well-preserved hardtop.

The upper-classic feeling continues inside. The fawn interior, tan carpeting, and wood-like trim inserts are all quite harmonizing with the exterior. And it all has the clean look of quality care. So you'll happily roll down all the windows on this pillarless hardtop just so you can easily show off the thoughtful style inside and out. The whole setup is for vintage lovers, right down to details, like the working dome lights, Delco AM radio, and button-top presentation on the seats and doors. And while the mileage is exceptionally low, this one was made for driving. That's why you have features like the front bucket seats, a center console in-between, and the same kind of quad auxiliary gauge package you'd find on the Camaro later in the 1960s.

The classic and correct style continues under the hood. The Chevy orange and vintage callouts draw your attention to the 327 cubic-inch V8. It's a bold presentation worthy of showcasing the numbers-matching V8. This is the era where Chevy started understanding how to unlock the most out of the small block, and this is even topped with a year-correct Holley four-barrel carburetor. So this is a stout and well-maintained powerhouse that makes the right torque to move this coupe with confidence. Plus, the correct Powerglide automatic transmission, power steering, and supple ride make for a good cruising package.

The sale comes complete with desirable paperwork, including the Protect-o-Plate warranty card and packet. This is a cool and significant classic that remains a stylish vintage machine. So don't let this uniquely low-mileage Impala slip away, call today!
