This 1955 Chevrolet 210 hardtop has the instant bold appeal of a street machine, but you'll love this for more than just the paint. With an upgraded small block V8, new front disc brakes, an overdrive transmission, and a comfy A/C interior, they really were quite thoughtful about how they upgraded this icon.
It's easy to love a Tri-Five Chevy when you want to drive something memorable, but this one really turns it up a notch. Raspberry Metallic is a terrific color because it follows the pastel hues we love of a 1950s machine, but it also adds an electric element to bring it into the modern era. So it does a good job of looking both classic and modern, and that's the real theme of this car (well, that and its Razzle Dazzle nickname.) It does a terrific job of shining off the clean lines of this 210 hardtop (it's so nice, it earns the upgraded Bel Air badging.) Beautiful chrome bumpers, clean side trim, bright emblems, polished exhaust tips, and iconic Cragar SS wheels make for a great brightwork package on a car that loves to look updated while still being vintage.

The interior continues the idea of all the right upgrades. A bold raspberry pink returns inside to coordinate with the exterior, and now it's joined by a tasteful gray. You have nice modern features like cold-blowing R134a air conditioning, tinted windows, cup holders, and an upgraded AM/FM/cassette digital tuner. You'll enjoy your time in the driver's seat because this one was upgraded around you. That means a fold-down armrest for individual comfort, and a full set of upgraded readouts, including a large column-mounted tach. There's an attention to detail here... It's in custom elements like the shooting star embroidery on the seatbacks. And it's also in the fundamentals, like the good weather-stripping, clean glass, working dome light, and new carpeting. So it makes for an all-around appealing cruiser.
The engine bay has a clean but honest style. And we mean that because the bold orange block with Chevrolet script valve covers is pure vintage Chevy. They even thoughtfully upgraded this to a 283 cubic-inch V8 with a four-barrel carburetor on top. That's a configuration that wasn't available in 1955, but it was the top-dog setup for this iconic Tri-Five era. This has all the right supporting components, too, like an upgraded alternator and an electric fan. So if this is starting to sound like a thoughtful total package, then you'll also like the easy driving features, like power steering, dual master cylinder power brakes, and new front discs. There's even an upgrade to a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive.
This is not only a bold-looker but also a great-driver. So if you want a '55 Chevy that's nice for trips near or far, call today!
