Description
The Shelby Daytona Coupe is the first vehicle to ever be recognized by the National Historic Vehicle Registry. It did everything from holding land speed records to out-matching Europeans on their racetracks. And this full-built replica earns its pedigree with serious upgrades like a Dart 427 block built by Smeding Performance, a Tremec TKO five-speed, and Ford Racing disc brakes. And where the originals were pure hardcore racers, this makes some of the right concessions for a weekend warrior - including turn signals and an opening rear hatch. Plus, there's cold-blowing air conditioning. It's probably still too hardcore for your morning commute, but you feel a lot better about driving to track days and car shows. Basically, this is a professionally-built machine that's ready to attack any raceway, but it's still legal enough to hang a license plate off the back.

And the styling is so accurate that this coupe lets you feel a connection to legendary names like Peter Brock, Ken Miles, and Carroll Shelby. But a Shelby Daytona coupe is also not meant to be static art. The motor, transmission, and chassis are all the level of professional grade that makes this a track day hero from the moment you get the keys. So it's up to you which weekends you'll reserve for admiration and which ones are for domination, and we'd all love to have that scheduling dilemma. Call today!!!
