The absolutely awesome look of patina will have you checking out this 1950 Ford F-5 COE. And while it has a truly king of the rat rod kind of style, what's really impressive is that underneath the skin are features like a fuel-injected V8 and an overdrive transmission. It means this custom-crafted big bruiser is also a surprisingly easy cruiser.
Patina vehicles are awesome because they celebrate the look of real classics that look like they have survived decades of working hard. So it only gets cooler on a COE (cab over engine) truck. After all, these were built to go to work, and so it's aged-in look is even more earned. And it's not just the patina that's alluring. Because the body may be quite straight, but because it has not been covered by glossy coats of paint, you can really see the custom work. The classic COE cab has its own color collage, and so you can also see the separation for the classic bed and doubled fenders. And pieces like running boards and a custom wood bed floor really bring it all together into a cohesive design. In fact, you know they were genuinely thoughtful in this design just by the way the grille and bumper overrides shine like new.

Patina vehicles are awesome because they celebrate the look of real classics that look like they have survived decades of working hard. So it only gets cooler on a COE (cab over engine) truck. Because the body may be quite straight, but because it has not been covered by glossy coats of paint, you can really see the custom work. The interior is more of the aged-in patina. It's on the doors, dash, and other metal. But this has far more thoughtful detailing. There are dual leather bucket seats. They have individual armrests and shoulder belts. There's newer rubber flooring, power outlets, and there's even a compressor installed if you're looking to upgrade to air conditioning. The sports steering wheel is on a tilt column, and the gauge package has been upgraded to hint at some of the more modern bones of this truck. You certainly will not mistake the interior for a Range Rover, but it is far more comfortable than just some old industrial machine.
While this has a classic Ford cab, within it is proper Chevy power. This is a modern 4.8-liter V8. The fuel-injected Vortec motor has a good reputation for durability, and so does the long wheelbase Chevy S10 chassis that this vehicle sits on. In fact, you have all the right features for a true cruiser, like an independent front end, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and a four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive.
This is cool/custom patina style with a fuel-injected cruiser underneath. So if you not only want to be both the biggest and most interesting ride in any crowd, don't miss this COE. Call today!!!
