An awesomely vibrant exterior, cold A/C in the loaded custom interior, an upgraded suspension, and plenty of dual-quad V8 power under the hood. That's why this 1951 Studebaker Champion Streetrod is the coolest machine we've seen in quite a while. And at this price, we know we don't get to admire it for long.
There's under 2700 miles on this total build, and one of the first ways you recognize this freshness is in the vibrant style of the bright yellow paint. There's also a full pink and teal graphics package that is pure retro cool. In fact, it's painted on with such good care that the quality will impress you even if you weren't seeking out Radwood kind of colors. Shaved trim, side exhaust tips, and polished Cragar wheels are all eye-catching custom pieces. But what might just catch the eye of a Studebaker fan are little things, like the upgraded one-piece wraparound rear glass. And if that wasn't distinctive enough, you have a full custom style on one of the most unique designs of the 1950s - a bullet-nose Studebaker Champion. And we love that they deleted the front bumper so that this hallmark style gets to take center stage.
Another reason why we like the paint and teal ... Please ask for the full description.

Another reason why we like the paint and teal accents on the outside is because it provides a preview of the interior color theme. It's a great look where tan is the main color for the upholstery, carpet side panels, and headliner, but the two-tone pastels are used as accents to liven up everywhere. It's such a comprehensive style that even the trunk is done to match. Comfort is a big appeal in a car like this, and so you have great upgrades, like cold-blowing air conditioning, power windows, an AM/FM/CD stereo, and both a custom center console and an overhead console. This custom really wants to prove it's a proper cruiser. So the front seats look like the excellent units from the Fox-body Mustang GTs, and it even has power lumbar support. There's also a Lecarra sports steering wheel, a tilt column, and a full set of cool Moon reproduction readouts from Classic Instruments.
Even the engine bay gives you a show-worthy style. Smooth inner walls, polished components - including the aluminum radiator, nicely tucked wires, and overall tidy style make this quite attractive. At the center is a cool 401 cubic-inch Buick nailhead V8. It has a true hot rod style with the Offenhauser. And then you count the flutes on the air intake, it tells you how many carburetor barrels you have on this dual four-barrel carb setup. This V8 fires up eagerly and idles smoothly like the fresh build this is. The TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is built to be both stout and smooth while it feeds the strong 9-inch rear end. Plus, the upgraded Mustang II-style front end, power steering, power brakes, and front discs make for a solid all-around cruiser.
This Studebaker has an amazing attitude that tells the world you have a different definition of cool. If you like plenty of V8 power, all the right creature comforts, and a truly memorable style, then you know how rare this Champion is. Don't miss out, call today!
