LOW OWNERSHIP CAPRICE, FUEL INJECTED 5.7 LITER V8, AUTO TRANS, PWR STEER/BRAKES!

There's a lot to love in this 1992 Chevrolet Caprice Wagon. It's a two-owner southern vehicle that's just coming off 20 years under the last owner's care. And while it has been respectfully kept, you can also see the custom style that has emerged as we begin to appreciate these sleek fuel-injected grocery-getters.

This is the last of the big American luxury cars; this is the last generation Caprice Classic. These are truly substantial in size, but there's also a graceful look with a gently sloping hood and a hint of fender skirt in the rear. And while this one certainly will remind you of the days when you were a passenger in the family station wagon, this is also one of the most aerodynamic shapes they ever gave to these full-size vehicles. So it has a cool sporty style that's all its own. In fact, we bet you've seen how the market is really starting to appreciate these Chevys as a great way to create unique classics. This one already plays into that feeling with the white paint that is believed to be original and deleted badges that make this look even sleeker. The deeply tinted windows are a nice contrast, and the 18-inch Foose wheels give it a polished stance. It's an overall ... Please ask for the full description.

It's an overall package that's custom and attractive without losing its usefulness. That's why you even have the tow hitch.

These were built to be terrific long-haul cruisers with seating for up to eight. It starts with the dark blue velour seats that have a fold-down front center console to give you individual space when the middle seat isn't needed. The driver's seat is a nice command position with an upgraded Grant sports steering wheel, a tilt column, and a power-adjusting seat. There are also nice luxuries like power windows, power locks, and a fully upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with aux input and modern speakers. The reverse-facing third-row seat is a great piece we wish we could still get in wagons today. After all, any noise is facing the other direction. And if you want to fold both rear rows flat, you've got the perfect machine to securely haul everything from a weekend's worth of projects to the ultimate tailgate package.

Under the hood, is a tidy well-kept engine bay. Below the factory plastic covers and original decals is a fuel-injected 5.7-liter V8 engine. This was reserved for trucks and large sedans so that it can deliver the kind of torque to get you hustling from a standstill whenever you want. It's small blocks like this that keep the Caprice popular because it delivers nice power on day one, and we all know how to unlock even more muscle if we want. But what we like about this is that it's just stock and well-maintained. It's even claimed that this recently saw good service with rebuilt injectors, new engine sensors, new intake gaskets, new plugs, and more. And the way this V8 runs certainly suggests quality care. These are meant to be true cruisers, and that's why you have a four-speed automatic transmission with a highway-ready overdrive. Plus, the power steering, cruise control, and power brakes with front discs are all perfect for the long haul.

The sale comes complete with the original window sticker, some maintenance receipts, and the owner's manual. It's great to find a well-loved two-owner version of a car that's also hitting its stride for custom appeal. There are little details on this one that you may decide to update, like restoring the air conditioning or adding a roof rack to where the factory mounting seems to be. And the value price allows you to budget for any improvements or personalization you may want. It's all part of the fun of owning one of the coolest grocery-getters around that loves custom style.
